CVAE will close our regular season in the intimate acoustics of the Chapman Recital Hall with an early celebration of Earth Day. Back by popular demand: Dominick Argento’s Walden Pond. In April of 2024, CVAE presented excerpts from this set of 5 songs for choir, 3 celli, and harp. Performers and audience alike extolled its lush and evocative lyricism. This time, we will complete the set, joined again by brilliant cellists Jennifer Yopp, Emma Patterson, and Pam Chaddon. The program will also include works by Christopher Tin, Jennifer Lucy Cook, and more.
