American Composer Eric Whitacre’s When David Heard, an intense portrait of grief, is the centerpiece of the program. Other featured works include motets by Josquin Des Prez, MLK, arr. by Bob Chilcott, and Lux Aeterna by Edward Elgar.

The Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble (CVAE) is a regionally acclaimed chamber choir dedicated to excellence in the choral art. Founded in 1992 by Deborah Jenkins Teske, an accomplished conductor of choral music and opera, CVAE is committed to artistic excellence and community involvement.
