 In this eclectic program inspired by the 4 elements- earth, wind, water, and fire – the 30 voices of CVAE will present works by Claudio Monteverdi, Benjamin Britten, Morten Lauridsen, Frank Martin and Veljo Tormis.  
The final concert of CVAE’s 2014-2015 season, this performance will be featured on 88.7 KCME-FM’s Chamber Recital Series in May.  Michael Campion, popular host of KCME’s Classics for Kids, Sounds and Sweet Airs, and Colorado Springs Philharmonic Concerts will join the ensemble, offering conversation and commentary about the music with Artistic Director Deborah Jenkins. The Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble (CVAE) is a regionally acclaimed chamber choir dedicated to excellence in the choral art. Founded in 1992 by Deborah Jenkins Teske, an accomplished conductor of choral music and opera, CVAE is committed to artistic excellence and community involvement.
